Oh... we had a long weekend here in Dubai.. Thu, Fri & Sat... gosh what bliss!! And Im not really sure where the weekend went... but I dont remember doing anything special... 

Anyway... Do you remember this blue window... that gives me sore eyes... 

here is what I did... 

champagne coloured blinds... to match with my sofa... and also to blend in with the wall and curtains at home... so that you dont focus on the window anymore... 

But your focus has now moved to my pretty little jharokha... 

Do you like how I've concealed the window... *smiles*

Artist ~ Asha (Tajore paintings ~ 3)

Yes, I can't believe this is Third series of Asha's paintings. Have you seen part 1 and part 2 ... 

If you have... you should know by now that her style of Tajore paintings are truly different and unique... 

The minute one says Ravi Varma, what strikes my mind is Damayanthi and I had to do it. 

Needless to say, any one can get inspired by Indian gems and jewels. Here, you can see a traditional sought Indian head dress. a bangle ( kada ) and a bejeweled sword.

 

Now isn't that inspiring?? 

Well this is what I saved for the end... I can't beleive that here is Egypt in Tajore... 

Now.. isn't this wow!!

The Weekly Story ~ wk 18

Hello my lovelies... its Monday again... and its June !! Gosh... we are half way into the year... and my 'to-do' list seems to be growing as usual... 

Anyway... Did I tell you I have been dreaming of my new colour palette... 

Well the new home is an old structure and needs a lot of doing before anything around here starts looking good.. LOL.. Yes!! seriously... so I've decided on doing this... one wall at a time... one room at a time.. *sigh*... 

So do you remember seeing this?? and below is my palette taking over ....

a little bit of lime green... with some turqoisey blue.... 

Made this area... look like this!! Do you like it?

Well I kind of hand enough of orange walls.. and hence decided to bring in more colours into my life...

Now.. peep into my little abode... Yes.. Yes... the insides are still orange and red... Didn't I say... one wall at a time.. LOL.. its a bit of a mismatch now... but for now.. you only look at this wall... and tell me what you think...
