The intention was to have a 'beach themed tea party'.... but it now looks more like 'under the sea' tea party... Do you like the centre piece??
These shells are from my Maldives holiday... We gathered anything related to the 'beach' or 'sea' around the house... and put out the table..
Simple tuna sandwiches, jam sandwiches, cupcakes, Parle G (I love Parle G)... and few more bites... for a gorgeous evening!
At the end I thought there was too much on the table... but with three people decorating one little table... what do you expect??
The string of shells is from Goa...
Would you like some water?? or lime juice??
The blue below... meant to be the waves.. is a dhoopatta!!
......... and all together...
........ lets enjoy!!
such a beautiful array of sea shells...and such a lovely sea /sky blue..i feel like swimming

ReplyDeleteAmazing decor... love how you girls came up with the idea of using a dupatta to create water effect. I don't think that the table is over-crowded. I loved it!
