Makeover Stories ~ Simran

What I love about your home.... is how you give it that personal touch... How is speaks about you... reflects the person you are... How each was has a story and the home a character and attitude of its own...

Introducing today, is one of my oldest blogger friends ~ Simran....

I had completely forgotten about her... till she send me pictures of her home for the makeover series... (which makes me feel horrible).... We connected instantly coz she wrote about Everything Indian... and I totally loved reading all her stories...

Anyway... today I'm taking you into her little nest ... *smiles*

As a lover of all things Indian, Simran has tried to incorporate the splashes of colour, the artistic craftsmanship, and the beauty of simplicity in her home decor. She says it gives her a sense creativeness, especially in her "inspirational corner" featured here.

Music from the subcontinent playing in the background adds flavour and inspires her creative writing, whether it's about Bollywood films, music, journal scribbling or work on her novels.

Among several blogs is her Everything Indian Blogspot, which she hopes you'll visit, enjoy browsing, and leave your comments there...

And her blog for the India New England Newspaper ....

Now... home makeovers are about knick knacks.... adding that personal touch to every corner....

And there is so much to see....

Its about walls... that speak themselves.... I love what she's got on these walls...

I was more inspired by this one... than the paintings...

and don't you think it fits perfectly well.... on this wall.... with a story at the bottom... Can you see that little case??

And here is her inspiration corner....

Cushions can create magic.... Spot the cushions on the floor...

And total magic... is this sofa... I love how the cover... and cushions give it that glamour and royal touch....

And the full picture... specially for you...

Little bit of clutter and lots of love... and that's what makes a story.... *smiles*...

What do you think of the elements of India in her home??
