The Weekly Story ~ wk 81

Remember... I said, once I'm done with the cleaning, clearing, decluttering... I'll start the planning process... So now I need your help!!

First let me show you my little living room...

You've seen this picture ... Haven't you?? Opposite this... is the dining area....

So last year, with hues of pink and green... we had the lotus theme in the living room...

This year....  to start with a makeover... I need to decide on a colour scheme..

And that is where, I need your help... I'm battling between...

1. Burnt Orange & yellow
2. Peacock colours : teal & green
3. Purple : Shades of purple & orange... or purple & grey... or purple & a light green
So do you have any suggestions for me?? What colours should this room be?? or should I simply leave the walls the way they are??

Hope to see you this week at ....  'The Weekly Story' linky party ~ open from Monday through Wednesday every week..

I see that all your furniture is in browns so I would suggest burnt orange and olive green...

  6. Hi Patricia

I think burnt orange will go very well with mint.Go for some earthy tones in the decor with touches of gold here and there!:) Linking to your weekly story !

  9. So impressed that you are re-doing it so soon. I can barely do one decor and here you are redoing it!

Burnt orange will go nicely with the furniture, but I think it will make the room look very warm, and in the Dubai heat, that's not something one wants.

I think greens would be nice with your furniture too, a fresh green, not too bright, but not too dark either.

i think a nice wine and olive green color scheme would look great..... and maybe add a few yellow accent lights for a cozy evening....:)

can't wait to see what you decide!!
