a girly breakfast

The girls decided to have breakfast in the garden this morning….. We are already in the middle of our peak summer season… but who cares.. a little bit of sun doesn’t hurt anyone..
By now you must know… that Pink / Purple is my girls favourite….
I was delighted by the idea… and asked Sims to get her favourite table mats… and she picked these…. (of course.. .she would .. I knew that anyway!!)
I’ve still got to start my kitchen selection… but for now white plates would do… She didn’t like the metallic spoons so decided she’d use green & yellow… and they seem to go perfectly with pink..
We need candles for anything, at any time of the day… so don’t be surprised..
I have no theme in my garden… my beautiful mosaic table… is accompanied by a wooden bench, two wrought iron chairs, two wicker chairs & one wooden rocking chair.. To me… they seem to blend impeccably … will post some pictures of them in totality as well..
We don’t really like plucking flowers… so picked a few that were on the ground today… for the center.. Today I’m joining the party at Pink Saturday & Tablescape Thursday!!
The girls put this together… so its basic & its their style.. The candle on the plate was Yva’s idea… to which Sims said ‘please remember, its only a quick breakfast’..
It was good fun.. Is that an overdose of pink for you??? I’m beginning to like pink as well… *wink*
