Old Church Beauties

This is the Church of South India, All Souls Church. This is one of the oldest buildings in Coimbatore.

This was built in 1867 with funds raised by Mrs.HR Grimes, wife of superintendent of the jail, and by Major WH Hessey (21st Madras Native Infantry, Staff Corps) Deputy Superintendent. Rev Henry Pope, the first chaplain was appointed in 1870 and the church was dedicated 1872.

It's called CSI All Souls Church.

This is an amazing kind of beauty... isn't it?
