Remember my mail box?? That goes up here ….
My make shift bird bath… I’m still hunting for a proper one.. Then the trunk will be cut off completely and a proper bird bath will stand in my garden.
Then I have a bell that I carried from my Sri Lanka trip…
Now for a few flowers at the entrance of my home.... … This one is rather burnt… the direct sunlight is too strong.. I’m hoping by September, she will feel better…
My Pink Saturday flowers..
And when you go back.... this is what it looks like...
I’m linking in to FJI and Sunday Showcase. You must go and check Funky Junk Interiors, there is loads & loads of inspirations there… and the DIYs are simply amazing… Any more ideas for me?? Comment or email at torresp27@hotmail.com I love hearing your views…

Hi patty, U can beautify ur entrance way more by putting assorted masks above the door frame and wall mount candle holders on both sides. How about a water feature b4 u step into ur dream home ??
ReplyDeleteHi Patty,
ReplyDeleteHappy PS! I just came back from Qatar with a bunch of fancy lanterns. I'm still wondering what to do with them. They looked so nice over there but here in Canada I do not have a home for them yet. I've also traveled around the globe collecting artifacts. Its too bad you live so far I would have you over to help me integrate into my home decor. I dont have your talent and creativity. I love your home. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Patty,

I see dusit dubai in the distance!Which is making me delurk the first time. A fellow dubai wali...I enjoy your blog so much. Where do you live? I used to live in springs untill last year and ur garden brings back memories of mine too. I had lovingly tended to it for 2 yrs...but now we have given our/that house on rent and live in a small aptt ourselves on rent!So not much scope for gardening which I really miss. Nevertheless, your pics are so pretty and also, dont you agree that dubai has some of the best home decor stores in the world??I love it here.
ReplyDeleteLovely blog, will comment more often....
cheers

tastefully elegant
ReplyDeleteIt is looking lovely! Why dont you go for a small water fountain that will also serve as a birdbath? I also have an idea for your main door since it has many rectangular empty panels and is away from rain and shine. If your decor is contemporary, you can go for a few abstract paintings, fixed on selected random panels, that will add a zing to the entrance energy, just my thoughts:-)
ReplyDeletePatty, I love your SKETCH! Talent, lady! And your flowers are gorgeous. Keep up the hard work!
ReplyDeletelove love love that sketch. I am wondering what sunsign are you ...wink! Are we related? Your space looks so pretty Pats. I love that gate n the view!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated pink Saturday. Hope you are having a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love the orange curtains in your living room! :)
ReplyDeleteLooking at your front entrance pic, i'm missing Dubai!!
