...Have been fascinated by those colorful Beads and longed to make a necklace and earrings to match that dress of yours? or Sew them them to your dresses and dupattas, for that extra zing? Make that special gift for your mom, sister or a friend?...or just string for fun? I love love working with beads, all kinds of beads, ...beads of difeerent sizes, shapes, textures and colors. I have dhabba's and dhabba's of beads, in my Art closet, that I still need to string! Probably will make some and have them ready for Gudi Padva ...put them into some pretty gauzy string bag and give it for Haldi Kum Kum... Until then, sharing some of my creations...
...gift for my cousin in Dubai for Valentines day...
Thanks Vineeta, you have a neat blog...Congratulations and all the very best for your MBA. Yes I do sell my beads and paintings. The monies go to either Shankara Netralaya or to a school for Mentally challenged children in Bangalore...
The way you have the beads strung is gorgeous. I see the beads in various stores, admire them and walk on. I have NO clue what to do and how to make these necklaces. So please do continue to put up pictures. And your friends sure are lucky lucky people to be getting such pieces of treasure. Each tell their own story. Keep it going. Happy Gudi Padva. If I say we Kannada people celebrate the same festivals with a different name, can I please please get one? Just checking ;) Thanks for sharing the lovely and bright pictures.
