When I first saw this wall I couldn’t help but think that it was bubbly, fun and full of life.
This deliciously cozy set-up belongs to an old college friend Anjum, who has always been a creative soul - do you see it in this room?
The splashes of color in the table cloth, the chair cushion, the knick knacks on the decorative shelves..gorgeous!
But the wall is one of my favorites bits of her home *smiles* Anjum and her hubby have covered it in comic strips of her favorites, ‘Calvin & Hobbes’ – I loved the idea and can’t wait to try it out as well.
Imagine having your morning cuppa at that table and smiling to yourself as you read off the wall – what a great way to start the day!
Here we wanted to do something different on the wall, something other than just painting. The idea began with old newspapers, then old advertisements and then one day I said hey, why don't we use my C&H books and make a comic strip wall. I'd read the books a million times over!!
Walls with Character is in the spotlight till the end of February... so do send in your entries.. We'd love to see what you've done to your walls...
