Happy Friday...

Oh.. I’ve been waiting for ‘Friday’… Today is my kitchen clean, clear, de-clutter day… It will take me all day… but when I’m done… Oh the joy!! *smiles* As the rest of the world is celebrating fall… I’m celebrating the start of our outdoor season… The weather is ‘just right’ today… Can't say pleasant… But I’ve been waiting so long… Might as well enjoy it!!

The girls & I are morning people… This is a 6am picture. Returned from my walk… with a bunch of these to put around the house. Sims is away at her cousins place… So its just Yva and me.

No prizes for guessing which mug is hers?? Yes!! This is my little monster.

We decided to sit in the front yard as protest… My hubby got this yesterday… it now occupies half my garden (not really) space!.. and I am sooooo not pleased!!

A walk in Santana Row

A few months back I purchased a new camera. The day it arrived, I took it for a test drive to Santana Row. For those who don't know Santana Row, it is an upscale shopping, dining and entertainment complex in San Jose, California. A very beautiful open European style shopping center, it was intended to be the "Rodeo drive" of Northern California.

That particular day, I noticed the vast collection of beautiful planters and urns used throughout the space. Big and small, hanging and free-standing, wood, clay and ceramic... a beautiful mix of various sizes and styles. Here are some pictures from that day.

Initially I wanted to contribute in a specific category of posts like "Reduce, reuse, recycle" or "DIY" or "Outdoor spaces". But, even after thinking for almost a month, I have not been able to narrow down on just one topic to contribute. So I have decided to call my category "From here and there"... Clever, don't you think... gives me a free pass to post in any category I want.

Another home... Sandra's magic!!
