DIY ~ hanging decor

Now I'm sharing a very simple DIY hanging decor....

All you need is a hanger... Make the wire look like a circle. and if you have an old Christmas garland...

You stick it to the hanger... and it looks like this...

I wanted these for my lights...

And here is the end product... A few tree decorations as well... and it truly looks lovely!!

In the spotlight ~ Santa Stories

In the spotlight for December and going into the New Year is 'Santa Stories'.. I'm hoping all of you will join in with your memories of this festive season, decor, craft, thrift finds and glamorous Christmas trees *smiles*

For the last two years, my silver decor was locked away... and we always decorated the tree with the traditional red and gold. This year, we've decided to do shades of pink (pastel pink, mauve, shocking pink) and silver... 

So the next few days, I'll share with you the pink & silver decor we've put together...

Oh.. my angel chimes... You've seen them about two years ago... here.. broke!! *sobs*... so we stratigically, took the angels away from the broken peices.. and have lined them up together like this.. What do you think??

St. Peter's Salzburg

Following from my last post, I just love this cemetery. Here are some more images - Hope you like it ... as much as I did!! St. Peter’s Cemetery is enclosed by large and elegant wrought iron fence. The graves are primarily of the old wealthy families of Salzburg. My of the aristocratic families of Salzburg lie buried here along with a few notable figures as well. Most of the cemetery is obviously graves… more graves and a few chapels. The graves are lovingly attended to by Salzburg families and are decorated with flowers, candles, fir branches and also angels. I was told by an old lady that Pansies were the most common here coz their name means ‘thoughts’. Look… here indeed are a lot of memories and thoughts.

DIY ~ Rosewood Wreath

The start to December to me simply means Christmas is near... and thoughts of wreaths, baubles, mistletoes, reds, golds and greens.. *smiles*.. 

Here is a stunning wreath, I spotted at 'Under the Table & Dreaming' last year...  (and forgot to share!)
